From Branksome to Swanage by open-top bus; then steam train to Corfe; and finally the return journey.

  • Really enjoyed the visit with you! I know every step of the way here as I grew up in Bournemouth. Just wondering, is the steam train is still operating to Corfe? Your video is good -- don't apologise for anything! Thanks for posting!

  • @Cre8iveStar thanks for the positive comment.

Yes the train is still operating, in fact there is an item in today's BBC local news about the preparatory work for this year (having no success with posting a link).

  • Excellent film set to fantastic music. Good job.

  • Thanks - I just wish the part panning around the panoramic view from the castle had turned out a bit better.

  • You did a wonderful job. I'm only just getting to grips with filming and editing. But I know what you mean. As soon as you put a film together you can always see something you did wrong and want to tinker with it.

  • At the time of this video I was new to filming/editing(as it shows) but I just enjoy the whole process from having an initial idea to the final video.

The panning problem is a failing with the editing software (Adobe Premiere Elements) when dealing with a v large image (the panoramic view from Corfe Castle was constructed from ~15 separate pics). Trying to smoothly move the image across the screen results in juddering.

Good luck with whatever you produce, hope you have as much fun as I do.
