The music is zouk and the style is also called zouk. BUT it is not the traditional zouk, thats true. It is zouk Brazilian style.

Well, we do call it zouk, but we also do know there is a Antilles dance called zouk that existed earlier. Personally, I prefer calling it Zouk Brasilian Style, because it is quite different from Lambda. But there is a heating debate about it.

BTW: I have asked several zouk musicians and they really do not care what we call the dance as long as we buy the albums :-)
