@killer1177 Vince is an idiot! Bret would never do that! Did you watch his documentary Hitman: Wrestling With Shadows? Bret didn't want to leave WWF and wanted to continue to work for Vince and possibly renew his contract but Vince couldn't compete with what Ted Turner and Eric Bischoff were offering him and basically told him to take their offer. Also, Bret had full creative control over his character in his contract so he was getting too powerful so I think Vince just wanted to get rid of him.
