@MrEvilronald berger:10 wins
alesi:1 wins
they drove the same car for 5 consecutive years for 2 different teams:
the numbers:
points: alesi 165 berger 132
qualify: 42 to 35 for alesi
in 5 championship 4 times alesi is ahed of berger
so alesi was better then berger, why 10w to 1w?
19 times (19!!) alesi was leading or fighting the lead and he was abandoned by his car, without errors by himself (i can show the singles episode in detail).
so berger was luckier and has drove better cars in career

@MrEvilronald berger may have managed to win a single race in benetton, but look at qualifiyng times, point scored, the many times when alesi had to abandon a race for car failure when he was leading or challencing le lead. he had never fail to win because spin off or shunt in one lapped guy, as other celebrated super-champion did.
the episode of the delayed pit entry is true....and so??? super-champion had done worse thing..ferrrari was good in 94 e 95.before was far fron be a top team
-
@pisomark What about when he drove for benetton and his crew told him to come in coz' he was low on fuel and he chose to ignore them running out of fuel a lap later!, yeah ok, you do need a bit of luck, but are you saying Ferrari are not a top team?, ok at that time they were not the best, but they were hardly Minardi, and the Benetton, well team mate Berger won in it. I just dont buy the whole 'unluckiest driver ever' thing
-
@MrEvilronald top teams?? ahahahah
he made miracles with the tyrell in 89-90
then go to ferrari. and ferrari in the years 1991-1995 was a wreck, not only slow but also unreliable. in 91 his teammate was ALAIN PROST who drove slighty better then jean but don't won a race. in 93-95 alesi has done a better job then berger, his teammate.
same thing in benetton. he never drove a winning car.
good luck is a important factorin motorsport (see chris amon). you don't know nothing EPIC FAIL BOY!!

@tifosi77 - take a look at this bone-headed manuever:
/NbyOJ0kN9xU
This was 100% Dario's fault and the second time in two weeks he did the same exact thing. He didn't realize the race was over and that other cars were slowing down. He launched over the car in front and nearly ended up like Kenny Brack.
-
@tifosi77 - I could show you 20 or more of these or worse for Mario or Michael Andretti, Dario Franchitti, Dan Wheldon etc.
Drivers make mistakes and bone-head maneuvers all the time.
I have seen Michael Schumacher do far worse than this twice in one weekend.
If clips like these are what you base your overall opinions on, you might want to look at Schumacher in the early 90's.

Jean Alesi, F1 career 1989-2002. 1 win. Drove for the top teams as well so no excuses. Utterly fuckin' useless driver. Everyone always used to say he was the unluckiest driver ever...what?, for a decade? Yeah, right.

@TRX400ex7681 mika duno now thats a bad womens driver

I WAS THERE! :D

@TRX400ex7681 because she's a bitch
Why does everyone hate on Danica? Theres plenty of drivers out there every week who do WAY worse then her. When was Kyle Petty's last win? She may not be Dale Earnhardt, but she is definitely a talented driver. Everyone just expects her to win all the time and if she doesn't she's "a waste of a seat". If she's a mid pack driver then she is already better then half the field, and she is getting better and better. Switching to nascar from indy is like switching from a go kart to a battle ship.

To everyone who has been calling me out for my critique of Patrick's record, please cite me to your evidence that contradicts my assertions that she is a nothing more than average behind the wheel (at best) and owes her Indy car career to something other than talent.
