Trying it with a different format. I don't know why the sound is out of sync. It's fine on my computer. My Eastman AR810CE, Line6 TonePort UX2... I have the guitar plugged into the instrument input. And some sort of clean Jazz guitar preset. Look it up in the online Gearbox "Tone Library": Archtop Jazz under Wolf Marshall.

With the toneport ux2, plug the guitar into the instrument input, and hook it up to the USB port. No power supply needed. It also has 2 mic inputs, and phantom power. It can output 4 signals to recording software. 2 clean channels + 2 processed channels.

  • Débutant, pas grand interet pour être publié

  • Typical Frenchman.

  • Your computer doesn't likely have an instrument input thing. But it will have a microphone input (the pink plug), and that would work for getting a crude guitar sound into the computer. If you want better quality, you need to buy more gadgets.

  • hey man, what kind of strings do you have on your Eastman?

  • D'addario phosphor-bronze light. Yes, that's right, acoustic guitar strings above a coil pickup.

  • cool, what gauge are you using, 11's, 12's?

  • I use "Light" .012 part number EJ16. The ones in the blue package. I have also used the "Medium" size but think they are too stiff for me. I think medium is what was on from the factory.

  • Hey just read the info.. it sounds like what you have is a latency problem which can usually be sorted by installing a more powerful soundcard

  • No, Eastman is a Chinese Company that has been making stringed instruments for a century! And No again Linda Eastman was NOT related to George Eastman of Eastman Kodak.

  • great :)

  • Great tune! You play jazz nicely on the guitar. Reminds me of the jazz guitar movie 'Sweet and Low Down' with Sean Penn. I wonder if 'Eastman' is related to the Eastman-Kodak family. Paul McCartney's wife Linda was an Eastman. :)

  • nice song keep on playing!!
