A short shown that was aired on HBO in the 1980's between movies. (Sometimes these little clips were part of the 'Intermissions' or dubbed 'Short Takes.')

This one is a cute little video of all the inhabitants of a pet store rocking out when the store owner calls it a night.

I get chills when I see this. Not because it's that good, but because it used to air on Nickelodeon waaaaay back when Nickelodeon was good and I hadn't seen it since I was probably five. Awesome. Thanks, YouTube!

I remember this along with another one where two guys play guitar and one becomes famous for playing the tune wrong. and the "Jumping" animated short. Also the live action Frog Comes to Dinner.

I'm looking for one of the short takes I believe was called "the butcher." It's a crazy butcher who accidentally hacks off his finger and then goes nuts and hacks up the rest of his body. Very bloody. That's how I remember it, anyway. Can anyone help??

HOLY SH!T, NO FUCK!NG WAY! I totally stopped looking for this, same as the other poster I was looking for the Rock and Roll Pet "Shop" and man it is good to see this. I used to wake up at 6.a.m. to try to catch it on Nickelodeon in the morning, in like 1987. Thanks for posting this, one of the best youtube finds ever! So funny how many people liked the exact same thing as me, like the bird and when the lizard turns plaid and the guitar riff, wow, that made my day!

@LtStarkiller You're talking about "Twice Upon A Time". Released copies are heavily cut, but the original uncut copy is posted on YouTube. After you watch it and all the memories come flooding back, also look up (from the same user) the original end credits - he altered them, but posted the original music after enough fans protested. The cape bit: inept superhero-in-training Rod Rescueman must launder his cape before he can save Flora Fauna, who is in the process of falling from a great height.

@kyranthia OMG! I tried finding this on imdb... no luck.. Google... wrong name. Rock and Roll Pet Store (I had put in "petshop"). I LOVE THIS! Thanks for posting. I had an urge to see that smiling and color changing chameleon! Thank you for posting this! I saw this in the mornings on Nickelodeon back in the 1980s, early days, when it didn't suck!
