King George once sang "whos gonna fill thier shoes", but its real sad to think there aint gonna be anyone to fill hi. George Jones is the true king of country, a voice that needs to be put in a time capsule and saved for generations to come.

My mom passed away a year ago yesterday and even tho i'm 57...it still hurts. She loved country music but i don't know if she ever heard this song but i imagine she did. We all probably picked flowers for our moms as kids. Mom, i thank you for supporting me thu life.

my mom is battling lung cancer now. she loves her flowers. she never had a beautiful yard or anything and she always wanted beautiful flowers to look at. I try to keep the yard pretty for her and have flowers everywhere. many times she will sit and look out at the roses or whatever is blooming. when she is feeling down she will adore all the beauty around her. she has always said give me my flowers while i'm living cause when i'm gone i can't enjoy them.

I always took my mom flowers when spring came around. She didn't have a lot of beauty in her life but I tried to somehow make up for that when I was growing up. I hope I did make a difference. I still have my mom thanks be to God. I love her as much today as I did then. She's my hero.
