* PLEASE SEE MY END MESSAGE
I always thought Disney could use digital morphing technology to make the foyer portrait in the Haunted Mansion a little less like a slide show, and more "flowing" with smooth transitions from image to image.
While my attempt doesn't address every little detail, it does address the major shapes of each image to give an idea of what morphing could do for the effect. (Pay particular attention to the clothing and arm of the character.)
I created the morphing sequence of the illustrations first in Norrkross MorphX, and then placed the movie within the scene using Photoshop CS3 (The frame's center was knocked out with the movie sequence behind the layer). Sound was pasted in with Apple QuickTime.
*Anyone with hires photos of the Mansion - inside or out - please email me if you would be willing to forward or link me your photos to be included in the full "production" DVD. Ideally, photos at least 1600 pixels wide will provide the opportunity to pan the images artistically.
You did a great job! Fortunately, they have already doen this exact same thing at WDW's Haunted Mansion...after the 2007 rehab, the Master Gracey portrait in the foyer is no longer a slide projection, but an actual digital film which morphs exactly the same way you have shown here, just a bit slower.
