  • i just love how simple you made it

  • you make it look so easy!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i used to draw spikey mini monster hands x3

  • Still - this is such a great vid besides that - definitely liked and fav'd - I'm going to use it to help me with all my hand drawings. :-)

  • @kaitzi Furthermore you say you need to keep the female's hand slim....again, not really true. It's hard to tell without comparison, but an average female hand is smaller all around then and average male hand. The width of the palm should be roughly the length of the middle finger, regardless of sex. Individual slimness/thickness will vary by character (heavier people = bigger palms with more muscle or fat). It'd be better to say keep the hand internally proportional.

  • Around 2:20 you say that since it's a female hand, the fingers will be more pointed. ...I hope you know that's not actually true. Considering this is such a great video otherwise, it would be really disappointing for people who haven't really studied female hands to believe there's a big difference between male and female hands.

It would be better to say that if a character has long nails, you should include them. Not all women have long nails, though (and some men do).

  • @dukec88 it's not his fault!! Loved the video! My teacher will be so happy with my hand!!

  • This is a really useful video, I usually am not good with drawing hands to I'll be using your tips a lot!
