Now first we would like to appologize for this very long delay. However our Video-Editor had exams and then we had to do a complete overhal of the ranking algorithm and decided to do some additional tweaks along the way. So what has changed?

1. The Algorithm was completely overthrown. After the long system of stop-gap measures we finally decided to take a new approach as suggested by some of our viewers.
The new Algorithm derives points almost completely through new views, comments and ratings the video acquired since the last ranking. This is meant to ensure that videos with many stock views can't just juggernaut their way through the ranks. Overal stats are still used, since we still use the 'popularity variable' that basically looks how many comments/ratings per view a video has, so overal views, comments and ratings are not completely disregarded, on the contrary, they once more serve as a balancing device.
We will also keep up the penalty system, but with far lower penalties.

the current algorithm is: (newviews+newcomments*20+newratings*10)*(ratingaverage/5)*penaltypercentage*((co­mments+ratings)/views)

the reason there seems to be no ranking #12 is, that that particular ranking was drawn for tweaking and comperative reasons and is not fit for the public eye. sorry 'bout that.

2. there is a new intro sequence for the ranking (made by Kentai-P)

3. the intermission was upgraded slightly (more tweaking regarding the timing is in order still.)

4. new rank-announcement-screens were added for ranks 10 to 6 and 5 to 1

5. ranks 20-11 now have a 30sec preview, 10-6 40sec and 5-1 1 minute

We hope you enjoy the improvements we made. The new algorithm should give a the ranking a much more 'real' feeling, since it analyzes shifts in popularity every week and tends to draw in brand new songs.

@Kentai92 Something probably just went wrong, because I have those songs in my lists. Well, it's not the end of the world. I will check the times once you send the new list to me. ^^

@MissMyu0 Yeah, I was thinking and thinking what kind of a pv I could make for me and then this idea came along xD glad you like it.

Hm, there is a 2sec delay before the preview sets in, but I try to match the start point with the preview times.

I am missing quite a lot of preview times. I assumed because there were missing songs in your list, but maby the transplantation procedure I used didn't work correctly. I'll forward you the new list and you can look up whether it matches.

I noticed that some of the songs have different preview times than what I set for them. Is it because of a hurry or something? ^^;
