The Frontier Wives were scheduled to play a big reunion show at the Blank Club in San Jo' on December 27, 2008. Unfortunately, a few weeks before the big show, drummer Lex vandenBerghe (aka Mr. Survivor TV star) got into some stupid accident involving a skateboard, and alcohol that left him with a shattered arm. As Lex wouldn't be able to play drums for a few months while his arm healed, the big plans for the reunion show were put on hold, inspiring many bad jokes, which I won't bother repeating.
As the band wouldn't be the Frontier Wives without drums, the Frontier Wives canceled the official show, and transformed the event into something for Scott Long's Ex-Wives Club, FW Unplugged, the Frontier Wives Barbershop Quartet, or some other silly title I can't remember anymore. Along with the usual suspects Scott, Lex, Mic Jennings, and Mike Donio, they were joined by founding member Matt Rook, who hadn't played with the band for at least 20 years.
This is a performance of the Frontier Wives original song "Love, Hate & Desire."
If you want to hear more of these guys, go pester em at at their MyS**ced page at:

This video is considered BEERware. If you like what you see, and you live in the SF-SJ Bay Area, track down the guy who shot this footage, introduce yourself and buy him a beer... preferably something decent like a Newcastle Ale, a Bass Ale, San Miguel Dark Lager, or a Lagunitas Ale. Please no crappy domestics, OK?
Or better yet, just hire him to produce some eye-popping video for that big corporate event youre doing..
