Very nice performance indeed. Music seems to have been transposed down to 1 note that helped sing the song with ease. Music hands included western as well as a traditional Bangladeshi instrument (Dhol) with a modern setup that gave the song a different taste.
this guy seem to possess exceptional talent but to put him above kishore kumar would be an gross overstatement as the voice of kishore is so ripe and exuberant and rooted in such an celestial richness that even this guy is no comparison for that. this guy has got sur but never the spell of the voice of kishore
It is soooooooooo amzing i knew " tum Bin jaoon kaha " was taken from bengla folk But this singer is sooooo amazing .I think he did better start than Giant Kishore ji .
Well, let me reply ur comment on Ershad's behalf.I wonder why you did not look at the brighter side whereby he rather tried to introduce people, who are more smitten with the Indian word "Antakshari", to the Bangla equivalent "Ontokkhori".the idea being if something is needed to be taught, it has to be implicitly done by quoting a familiar reference so that the people targeted can relate to the new word and the idea itself and can easily imbibe it.Hope it eases your ignorantly felt genuine pain.
@gardhavgadha Kishor was bengali like the author of the national anthem of India. Nice rendition - no one can get close to kishore.

@lahore2vancouver the original of tum bin jaun kahan is not a bangla FOLK, it's a bengali popular song sung by Kishore himself.
