  • isnt a downward hammer fist used all the time in UFC fights for ground and pound? Yeah, I thought so. Just because an exercise is used to improve muscle memory, doesnt mean that it cant be used in other ways. Some people just have to learn to think outside the box.

  • this is definitely lo man kam's style and i like it. can anybody lead me to any more of Master Lo's wing chun for the forms and wooden dummy techniques? appreciate much any help.

  • roland, shoot me an email, and I will see what I can get you for videos. Let me know what you were looking for.

  • Nice, I like it. Not the way we do it but very clean and crisp. Very Cool, put some more up.

  • will be adding more videos this week! Thanks for viewing

  • Interesting, are they both doing a set pattern? If so, is it a form or have a name? Thanks. I have seen chisao before, but always more "freestyle" so to speak. I didn't know there was a long two-man form. Or, more likely, I just don't know what I'm looking at. :)

  • Not a set pattern. Just guided. Still "free" chi sao, only one person leads and the other utilizes feeling and technique as a response.

  • Please tell me how a downward hammer fist type thing in bong/lap would stop an opponent from ripping your head off. What you think your going to break his arm?

    forward punching is best.

  • Cool

  • the music ..ditch you don't need it..It's more distracting

  • While I was learning from him, Sifu Lo had seven patterns which could be mixed and matched in different orders. He called this "Dai Chi Sao" (Guided/Lead Chi Sao). This way, you can learn simple movements and then transition between them based upon the positioning of the "leader"'s hands. Later, it becomes much more free form. My understanding is that if you try to go straight to "free" Chi Sao, most people will be in too much of a rush and develop bad habits like stiffness or rushing.

  • Master's Lo's clips are very few in youtube. do you know of any updates of Lo's style on the forms and wooden dummy?

  • Troy, I can't find updates on Master Lo's chi sao, chum kiu, and/or wooden dummy techniques. Any referrals? Thanks.

  • hi, did you get any materials for the wooden dummy techniques lo man kam's style? how about the chum kiu form? thanks.

  • is this joe or jack of las vegas wing chun kung fu school? this is rolando. sorry if different guy.

  • I'd love to watch and learn from anybody doing master lo's complete mok yan jong movements and the chum kiu as well. Much appreciated for your efforts.
