You know swords can't possibly block a bullet. 1st you can't move your hand that fast and 2nd their made of the same stuff so it is a matter of which is faster which is the gun.

@que288 Yeah because you don't have to train to use a gun properly. Humanity transitioned to guns because they're just much more effective. Just like one would use a broadsword instead of a switchblade of he had the choice. And a switchblade instead of fists.
People using swords aren't "more skilled" "better soldiers" or even "more honorable". Otherwise the most honorable would be people using their bare fists.

Why would u use a close quarters weapon in a long range fight? In ancient and medieval times they had bows and crossbows, catapults and cannons. But when the enemy came in close, they drew their swords.
This is why modern military carry bayonets and combat knives and are trained in martial arts.

guns can break swords in half swords cant block bullets i mean c'mon bullets can go though a concrete wall and that means they can easily break a sword!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@CrookedSmirk honestly humanity has moved to ranged weapons because close combat is for skilled fighters and there were alot of untrained soldiers who were afraid to go into close combat so they would be better off shooting at a distance.
