He sings passably live. It's just really hard to compare to the album because he rarely sings to a perfect pitch, so live it tends to sound wonky.

it was an extremely loud concert and i had a small memory card so i sacrificed quality for length.

yeah, his vocals were pretty loud compared to the instrument (which i think is great) so it clipped my sound levels
