Night Sky a JB sister FanFic Ep.10

Yay for having time to upload! i hope you guys have all had an awesome holiday season so far!

(Nicks P.O.V)
Nick: Anna, can you here me?
she slowly opened her eyes. she looked so well tired. i guess i would be too if I where in her situation. But it didnt seem like she could hear me.
Nick: Anna? please say something.
(anna's P.O.V)
i wanted to talk to him its just the words couldnt reach my mouth. everything was fuzzy. I knew nick was trying to tell me something i just couldnt fit the pieces of what he was saying together. All of a sudden there where people rushing in. I wanted nick to stay but i could hear the doctors pushing him away. people where poking and proding me and trying to get me to say stuff. It was all just too much. Soon i was just too tired and slowly went back to sleep.
(joes P.O.V)
I was sitting on the couch when the phone rang. Followed by a scream. 'Oh, please no' i thought as my mom came rushing in. She was crying, but also smiling. Could things get any wierder?
Joe: whats going on?
Mrs.J: C'mon, get in the car we're going to the hospital. shes awake!
Whoa! i couldnt believe what i was hearing without even thinking i ran out to the car and soon kevin, frankie and my dad where there too. when we got there we ran down the hall and saw nick pacing around.
Mrs.J: when did she wake up?
Nick: Like 30 minutes ago. The doctors have been in there a really long time making sure shes ok.
(Nicks P.O.V)
Just then her doctor came out
Doctor: Well she seems to be making progress but shes very week so she'll have to stay in the hospital until she's strong enough to walk on her own and gets that cast off her leg. But there is something in worried about (pauses) we think there might be a bit of brain damage. It was like she couldnt talk when we where trying to ask her questions. Right now nothing is making sense to her but it may or may not get clearer over time.
Kevin: May not?
Doctor: there is a very strong possibility that she will never talk again. But for now it would be best that you just support her, Good luck.
And then he just walked away. He just told us she might have brain damage and then just walked away. I really hate doctors. Their so insisitive. We all walked into the room. Anna looked like she was falling in and out of sleep but her eyes opened all the way when mom sat down next to her an held her hand. She looked so disconnected like when a person is looking at something and you can tel their mind is in another place, sort of in a haze.
Mrs.J: Hi honey.
Anna just kept staring off into space, it was like we wherent even here.
Frankie: (walking up to Mrs.J) its ok mommy, it'll get better. i promise.
I dont think frankie knew that you cant promise that kind of thing. But my mom just nodded. But something about the way he had said it made him sound so sure of himself. So i silently said a prayer and out of the corner of my ear i heard joe wisper to himself.
Joe: it has to get better.

Ok i know its sad but i really didnt want her to just magically wake up and for everything to be fine because honestly I just dont find that very realistic. Feel free to message me if you have any ideas or issues with anything :)

Ugh. I hate being in hospital. The nurses are nice to you but the doctors guys that come around in the mornings sometimes to check stuff are just so inconsiderate. :(

dudes, seriously, that's a doctor's job. they walk away because they don't want to see you sad or else they'll break down. but when a doctor does whatevr he can to help a patient you really know he's a good doctor
