I wrote this back when Dr. Oscar Biscet was in "Cuba Si", a maximum security prison. This was when Fidel Castro was still "alive". American politicians, journalists, and entertainment super stars would visit Castro and nothing would be said of Dr. Biscet.
Dr. Biscet was thrown into jail again not so long ago for being a little crazy man on opposite day in Cuba.
Dr. Biscet is still in some other Hell Hole jail now(with so many others). We still have celebrity Americans who care little about true Freedom.

  • Where are all the "human rights" groups demanding the release of Oscar Biscet? Where are Danny Glover and Harry Belafonte? What about the liberals who spend all their time rallying for copkillers, gangbangers, and terrorists?

  • I appreciate your sentiment.

As an aside, Dr. Biscet is black. I believe there are racial overtones in his imprisonment. He is a charismatic leader and a voice for freedom from everything I've heard. It is my understanding that Al Sharpton, finally, has questioned his imprisonment.

  • The sad truth is that racism is alive and well in Cuba but yet Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Harry Belafonte, Danny Glover will be the first to shake the hand of Castro, sing his praises & ignore the plight of the black Cuban. Ignore what happened in 1994 the Maleconazo where thousands of black Cubans took to the streets of Havana. Castro went on tv & promised change that never came. 80% of Cuban prisoners are black & few blacks are in high government jobs. Biscet is a Cuban hero & Cubas future!

  • Thank you.

    Excellent insight

  • Excellent song, thank you!

  • Thank you indeed

  • Yeah, but how long did it take Sharpton to care?

  • Dr. Biscet is a political prisoner, not copkiller Wesley Cook.
