Abecedarians ~ Dinner (A Tribute)

Abecedarians was a gifted 80's group born of post-punk influence. Their driving rhythm accompanied by emotional vocals and oftentimes bizarre lyrics formed a unique sound for its time. This band had the potential to be huge, but circumstances beyond their control led to their early demise.

"Dinner" is a prime example of blending a solid melody wth some very far-out lyrics. For Abecedarians, it works well. Enjoy.

This song reminds me of the late 60s

and early 70s beside the 80s. You

don't hear good music like that anymore

since the mid 90s ended. These new

songs now I find some of them very

depressing and sometimes rap can

be vulgar.

I love you. LOL While that may be a dustant remark, I really think I do. ABECEDARIANS have represented for me one of the defining bands and sounds in my life. While they can be downgraded to a soundtrack sound, they to me represent sound, emotion and that sense of humiliation and exploration that I have long desired to achieve.
