  • To see a World in a Grain of Sand

And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,

Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand

    And Eternity in an hour.

    -William Blake (1709-1784)

  • Stupid Holst. I wanted to sleep. Now I'm going to be listening to The Planets for god knows how long instead.

  • i waited the whole god damn symphony to see what kind of applause they would get, and they cut me off right before it starts!

  • blast! kubrick, why couldn't you have used this masterpiece in 2001??

  • For Christ sake, I can´t hear anything¡

  • @sherbetheadmusic I now have to find someone to compose a Star Wars version of this. We need movements for Alderaan, Naboo, Kashyyyk, Hoth, Endor, Tatooine, and maybe Coruscant

  • Such a great pity that the women's chorus is out of tune in this. The other movements by this orchestra under Ozawa are superb.

  • Good thing Holst didn't write a "Pluto" piece. They'd have to drop it from the score.

  • This is the one that helps me sleep.

  • @mrgreenhouseman Wait... you mean a princess?

  • CONTRABASSOON!!! my favourite instrument :D

  • Trippy! where's my lsd?
