  • the best part about this video is when one of the wicks goes out.. it looks like a fire-chaser hoop!

Question... I am interested in buying some quick wicks, but I'm a little worried about attaching them to my LED... will it melt?

    how hot do they get?

  • @KalahInTheWinter

Thank you :-) I can't say enough good things about quick wicks. They are great, and Scott & Julia (of hoop drum, the company that makes them) are super sweet. I haven't used them on my LED, but I know of people who have. I haven't heard of them damaging the hoop, but you should be careful to not hold it verticle and stationary, as that will allow the fire to reach the actual hoop. The hardware doesn't heat up at all, and you can't feel them when you spin.

  • beautiful!! love the music,,,it's mystical ,,like the fire! go girl!!

  • @Tazbocat

    Thanks mama!

  • beautiful. really smooth isolation. keep it up :)

  • @missstrangeff

Thank you dear... Isolations are my favorite fire hoop trick. I really loved when the one wick went out and I only had 5 with a space in between so it looked all strob-y

  • Just bloody fabulous!!! Your isolation is tops!! Gotta get me one of those hoops

  • Thank you!

The hardware does not heat up at all. You can't feel them at all. I put them on 3/4 100 psi tubing, but they can certainly go on 160. Keep in mind though that they do add some weight (especially once dipped in the fuel) so 160 might be pretty heavy. There are 2 wick sizes, 1in and 1.5in. I got the larger size.

Never apologize for asking questions! :-D

  • does the metal from the quick wicks heat up? Can you feel it against your skin while you're spinning? I just found them last night. Which wick size do you have and did you put them on 160 psi tubing? Sorry for all the questions.
