My neighbor took me up in his maule for some pattern work. STOL, fast/slow flight, slip demos. Had a great time. Very fun aircraft.

  • @freediverga Stall is not based soley on airspeed. An airplane will stall at higher speeds at higher angle of bank and depending on attitude for example. So wrapping around to a short final with a tight bank, expect a stall warning at a higher airspeed.

  • Why was the stall warning going off so much

  • @shagy2shagy We were practicing STOL maneuvers (short take off and landing) and slow flight. The Maule can be at near stall speeds all day long and fly no problem because of the way it's built. Wouldn't want to do this in an airplane not designed to do so.

  • I find that kinda strange to because i was looking at the airspeed indicator and it was no where near stall speed!
