Wall Street CEOs are seeing gold bars not prison bars after the economic collapse, yet these are the same people that are the ones in charge of correcting the economy. In other countries across the globe, justice systems are holding these financial tycoons accountable and sentencing them to prison. The founder of the Economic Collapse Blog Michael T Snyder believes that the corruption from Wall St. extends to Congress and until someone steps up they will continue to get away with the same economic pillage.

  • Good if America falls apart, its about time. You guys have been so far up yourselves, whilst your leaders have been plundering the world in your name, you sat in silence. Now that your leaders have turned on you, we can all watch America become the banana republic.

  • And America criticizes Russia for corruption...

  • @marketjackers There is a great deal of Jealousy about America because this country stands out as a world leader and protector' but things aren’t as they might seem because the people surely do not have very much control over the medias nor what others think that they know when they clump people all into one category' capitalism is all a process of labels and we are all the same thing' no matter where we are'

  • Golly gee . . . corruption on Wall Street, & in Wash DC??? I'm shocked, shocked I tell you! Round up the usual suspects!!!

  • @RedResurrections There is plenty of blame to go around. You can't be elected President in the USA without dropping to your knees to take in the corporate "pork." Obama will have to raise one billion to run for reelection. Its a joke. America is a Corporatocracy.

  • @marketjackers Not all of us sat silently. True a large majority of us are ignorant to the facts, too lazy, or just don't care. However, there are many of us that don't want plundering in our names. Don't want to pay a trillion dollars a year for the empire at the expense of social uplift either. But depending on where you are from, your country could very well be reaping the rewards of all that "plundering." And FYI, many of us know that our leaders have long ago turned on us.

  • Blame Bill Clinton for where we are today. He sold us out to china when he signed NAFTA and CAFTA. Were buying all this shyt for china that we used to make, and they dont buy shyt from us. There needs to be a day or a month americans stop buying oversea's products. We would bring them to their knees.

  • "There is a VOID in leadership at the University of Pennsylvania."

  • Boy, if this guy wasn't looking for DJIA hitting 12,000 and NAS hitting 1,300. Sounds like it's gotten a little better since Oct 2010.

  • @tentist by the way, mr tentist dude, sounds like you are implying something about yourself making these assumptions. Americans are not stupid, feeling powerless but not stupid. They are just not being listened to or being properly represented by their leaders.

  • totally agree with this. Americans aren't being told the truth, and they know things are bad. They are not believing the lies of corporations, banks, politicians, etc. They are paying off their debts and starting to say no to "made in china" or foreign made products. However, ourselves and other countries have been through this before and it is not the doom and gloom it is made out to be.U.S. will still exist as a poorer nation. It is an inevitable correction of wealth.
