Shown is the cover and spine of the Rhodes I cassette, now out-of-print. Those cassettes were hand-made by Happy Rhodes and Kevin Bartlett. Ok, they didn't forge the plastic or make the paper, but when they got an order they would dub each cassette individually, and put together the cassette insert themselves. They did this with each of the first four albums ("1st4") until they were all re-released on CD in 1992.

The picture on each cassette is an actual photograph of a painting by Happy, cut and pasted onto a cassette insert. That's true of Rhodes I, Rhodes II and Ecto. Rearmament has a blurry photograph of Happy's eyes, but again, a copy of the photograph was cut and pasted onto each cassette. The track listing was often hand-typed too.

The original painting for Rhodes I was painted onto a motorcycle saddlebag, and is lost.

Monsters were Happy's friends growing up, and she still loves them.
