@nyamcz And even if he does mean a existing song, he will manipulate it to the max, something that isn't possible with just 2 turntables and a mixer.
You can't stop technological improvement... Even not in the art of music!

@dial8d These days? Synthesizers exist for 50 years now? Maybe longer? Even in the beginning of synthesis there were people who were really addicted to the technology behind making music, and addicted to upgrading their studio to the max. That's what you still see today, I have a desk stuffed with (drum)synth's and I use them all. I make techno too (just jam sessions) and the technology helps improving the sounds... Making music IS technology and theory... But the feeling is most important.
