Part 1 of the music from Konami's Salamander, the next in the Nemesis/Gradius series after Nemesis II. The game was ported to many systems from that era, but the music remained nearly the same in all versions.

The game uses Konami's custom sound chip called SCC (Sound Custom Chip), a 5-channel chip that compliments the 3-channel PSG chip of the MSX computer system.
