Nope. The Pentagon is within walking distance of Washington Reagan National Airport. If they had a missile defense, any plane trying to take off or land there would be shot down instantly. The banks of the Potomac would be overrun with aviation graveyards.

Ive heard that the Pentagon is one of the most securely protected buildings in the USA. Would it not have it's on Missile defence, is that even feasible. If so could it not have been one of It;s own Missiles launched prematurely in the event another Hijacked Flight was coming towards them ? What parts of the Plane were retrieved from the Pentagon and bodies of passengers. Do the listed passengers of the Pentagon Plane have Families that can be contacted to agree they had a loved one on theFlight

Think about something else here. If you were the hijackers, wouldn't you have flown the plane into the Pentagon at an angle? You'd surely dive-bomb it, not fly perfectly and with extreme expertise at ground level.

Experienced commercial jet pilots have said that they themselves would need 10 to 20 attempts to pull off the manouvre that the "skyjacker" pulled off. He must have been a natural. Hang on his instructor said he was useless even in a small aircraft just 1 month before. Hmmm.
