@roadrashsuxass This being the internet, it's obviously less then clear that I have no qualms with Anthony. He was one of my favorite riders for a long time. I loved watching him ride. The only person that could stuff a bike into the apex as fast and late as him at the time was Aaron Yates.
My comment wasn't to put him down. It was just a statement of fact.

I was at that Laguna Seca event. Troy Corser was faster in both races but Anthony held him off on the brakes in race 1.

@GetaV8orfuckoff he's back home in australia.i've been keeping tabs on his two younger brother aaron and alex........

well said anthony had an enormous amount of talent.....got the chance to meet him at road atlanta for the first big kahuna nationals.and even installed his tires on his rims as i was working for dunlop at the time.he was very cool guy .I know one thing there is no doubt in my mind had he been able to keep racing wow ama would have been a down to the wire thing evey year....

@0m1nous well said. one of his best races was in the mid 90s at laguna seca. man was he sliding all over the place - it was enormously thrilling.
@BDKR Corser is on a lead factory machine. Gobert is riding an aftermarket sponcored Kawi. Do the math:)

man, if there is one guy I would love to see turn his life around and get back in this sport, this is the kat. He was *blindingly* fast in the 90's... saw him at a few AMA events... but if back then you could hold off King Carl, Aaron Slight, and Corser, you were DOING SOMETHING RIGHT! Miss this kat... ugh! :(
