Banning unions will create jobs!

The union movment has done more to destroy america than any other force in america. Unions are the creation of communist traitors to america and freedom who want america to fail and suffer. Strikes are backed by democrats and their bolshevik allies and result in unemployment and high living costs.

Banning unions will undo this. As for wages they can be increased by banning immigration which is the root cause of crime, decreased wages and housing costs. We should also ban communism and all communist related activities.

You call yourself a libertarian and you want to ban unions? Surely a freedom loving person like yourself wouldn't want the government to take away the freedom of a group of individuals to join a voluntary association?

Unions set the bar for employee working conditions, skill levels, professionalism, and just compensation. This was long before OSHA and the EEOC. It still pertains today. Look at the union states and you will see a larger middle class, better schools, and those states are also "donor" states who give more in taxes than they receive. Unions improve ensure their members are represented in a dispute with an employer. Union is American.

The union heads and even the rank and file of today no more resemble the unions who "brought you weekends" than I resemble the planet Neptune.

Unions had a purpose back then. They have served their purpose and with the formation of OSHA and the EEOC, they should be disbanded and banned altogether. All they are now is a bunch of extortionists and leg breakers.

Basic econ 101. Price ceilings and floors (setting prices below or above their "natural tendency" artificially) creates surpluses and shortages. Same applies to labour. Setting wage rates above their "natural tendency" creates -permanent- unemployment (permanent insofar as it's continuous).

So the creator of this video is emotionally charged and a dogmatic fundamentalist, (unions are anti-american! communism! blarg! Faux news!) but so are you.
