@donperm I think people appreciate the fact that we've stripped out all the jargon and nonsense from our lessons and concentrated on delivering good quality information to help people become better skiers. Simple but effective.

I find myself doing what you are describing on a fairly flat surface but as soon as I move to a steep surface (like 35 degrees or more) I have to make very abrupt turns 'cause as soon as I start pointing downhill I pick up so much speed. Do you have any advice for me? Thanks!

Good video. I always think of this as slow down to turn; don't turn to slow down.The former is smooth and round the later is a Z turn as you note. In other words control your speed before you get to the down hill part, not after.
