Metal Gear Solid is pretty much the best way to explain how video games can be and is a form of art. All of those games conjured by Hideo Kojima's mind power and skill is a masterpiece.

@MondaysHurtMe Really? That's kind of odd. Fallout doesn't really seem like the type of game someone that doesn't care for video games would play.

Corporations don't give a fuck about morality or art. They care about your money. If there's not enough dissent in the media, it's hardly the fault of the corporately sponsored government. If it was popular, it would be advertised more and it'd sell more.
Blame the consumers.

@MondaysHurtMe Recently I've come to have much more respect for video games as a form of story-telling on top of other things, mostly due in part to the fact that I've recently branched out far more. Video games are, I think, fairly underrated when it comes to the topic of art. That is, like I said, only my opinion, but I stand by it completely.

@Benawisan I've seen TJ answering questions about games on formspring and he says that he really enjoys both Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas but beyond that not much else. I don't think he cares enough to explore deeper which I think is fair enough, videogames aren't for everyone.
