I was here when y'all performed this. I was sitting more to the far left. My band and myself were just sitting there watching in awe with this performance. I'm with the Jack C. Hays Rebel Band, and we placed 6th. I'm never gonna forget this competition :))

at 4:38 i still get goosebumps. That was my favorite show in my 4 years of marching for Duncanville.

I really miss marching band. I graduated from D'ville, and was totally ticked off when we got 6th. I thought it deserved first and sounded better than the shows I marched in. Good job!

We did not place in state because one the stupid juges gave us a 10 in music which that does not soound like a 10 to me

We competed here and at state. We saw you guys twice.

yea, the sound blew me away. Intonation, balance..everything. Totally agree this show sounds better than anything of the shows I marched from 2000-04. I put a video up of the state performance on my channel.

The ballad (begins with flute solo) through the end of the Fanfare for the Common Man section is simply one of the most brilliant sequences I have ever seen on a marching field. Please try to see this show live if can....to say that it tugs at your heart strings would be an understatement.
Nobody, I mean NOBODY, sounds like Duncanville.

I went to the 5A state preliminaries in San Antonio today and saw most of the bands and out of all of them this one was my favorite by far. By the ending of this I literally had tears in my eyes. The quote from Douglas Adams at the end was well placed along with all the other voiceovers were absolutely beautiful. Congratulations to you all and whoever came up with this show concept is a genius! I hope you place well in finals today!
