In 2004 Balfours Bakery the last major factory in the city centre of Adelaide left its home of more than ninety years for a new home in the suburbs. This video documents the old factory and the main baking processes whilst workers, some with more than 50 years service with Balfours, discuss their memories of their lives with Balfours and their aspirations for the future. Commissioned by Adelaide City Council and Balfours. A Starkey production.
