I live in Philadelphia and I heard that on the news

hmm thanks to the firefighters the other bigger storage tanks did not explode, lucky enough. Saw this on TV in Europe..

A truck to truck transfer of propane, an illegal practice in Ontario, was occurring at the time of the fires... it is likely that the propane ignited near the end of the transfer operation, perhaps it was a single static spark that started the fire and explosions.

Oh I didn't know. They said he died from a heartattack on the news. It's really sad.

What exactly happened?

somebody fucked up when transfering fuel at sunrise propane in north york, toronto and started a fire.... that fire then lit the storage tanks holding thousands of liters of propane causing the explosion

no one knows exactly how this happened, but it was at sunrise propane on murray rd. someone told me that they had over the limit of propane tanks but i still don't know how they blew up
