*Kevin's POV*
I waited for about 30 minutes after Joe and Elizabeth got home before I went to my girlfriend. Oh wait. You guys don't know about her. Well, her name's Erica Brooke Elizabeth Brosnan. I just call her Erica. She's very hyper but I love that about her. She always keeps me on my toes. She's also beautiful. She has long brown hair with side bangs and the cutest puppy dog brown eyes you have ever seen. We've been dating for about 2 years now and my family has never met her. They don't even know about her. I've met her parents and have even spent the night at her house. Not that anything happened! I do have a purity ring people. But I'm afraid my parents won't approve of me dating a human girl.

When I walked up to her house, I took a breath and knocked on the door. (Her parents gave her a house). She opened it and her face split into this huge grin.

Erica-Kevin!

I laughed as she propelled herself into my arms.

Kevin-Someone's happy to see me.
Erica-Don't flatter yourself, sweetie.

I laughed and fluffed her hair. Her mouth formed a perfect "O". I leaned down and swiftly kissed her lips. She smiled again and took my hand. We walked over to the couch and turned on some music.

Erica-Um..Kevin?
Kevin-Yeah, babe?
Erica-I know this is kind of a touchy subject with you but um..when am I going to meet your parents?

I sighed and stood up. I ran my fingers through my hair and started pacing. I heard Erica sniffle. I looked down at her and saw her head bowed with tears falling into her lap. I quickly ran over to her and brought her into my arms.

Kevin-Baby...what's wrong?
Erica-You hate me now.
Kevin-Erica Brosnan, I could never possibly hate you. There is no fiber in my being that would let me hate you.
Erica-Then why can't I meet your parents?

I sighed again. Well, Joe told Liz so why can't I tell Erica?

Kevin-Okay but you're going to need to sit down for this whole thing. This will explain why I'm so weird about you meeting my parents.

And with that, I lauched into the long story that could possibly change our relationship for the worst.
