Mujeres Libres fue una organización de mujeres libertarias creada en 1936 que hoy en día constituye un hito inspirador para el feminismo radical contemporáneo.
La letra del himno fue escrita por una de la dirigentes del mismo, la escritora Lucía Sanchez Saornil. La música está interpretada por la Fanfarre Libertaria de Iruñea y canta el coro Iruñea abesbatza.
