The range is based on the vid TX. The Auto-tracking will make sure that you don't loose the line of sight so the video is mostly without glitches. If you ever used a patch antenna for far distances and loose the video, it is a freak out time tring to manually point the antenna to right direction.

I do have all the parts list metal & electronics. Also have pics of tracking system. The hardware is all laser precision cut and the tacking unit has been tested for 15 flights without bugs. However, I am upgrading the firmware so it will be easy for field calibration without pc. I like to think KISS.
