I remember seeing John's Yankee Rebels line in '76...freakin' awesome! They had this massive snareline (which could have been cleaner ;) The licks he wrote for that drum line I still remember in my head to this day...
@YEP321S You're looking at a 'legend' in drum corps. This man is WHY drum lines today are so awesome . . . . . . because they are 'standing on shoulders' of men like John.
Clown?..You obviously know nothing about drum corps history..John Flowers was one of the most invonative drum line instructors of the 60`s and 70`s and I`m sure most of what you like about drum corps today are a direct result of things he thought of back then. PS: I know for a fact he can read and write music.
