If anyone knows how i can open this peice of crap up so i can screw the screw back in and remove the risk of shorting out my whole system without breaking it
(I'd like to be able to put it back together again afterwards) then please don't be shy. Why the fuck they did'nt just use screws to fix the outer casing together I don't know. I'd like to smack the guy who decided to put it together this way. It looks like it's two parts pushed together that lock into place. Anyway i'm not happy...
The problem i'm having with it now is that a small screw inside it that holds the soundcard to the casing has decided to come loose and i can't open it to screw it back in.i'm not happy using it with a peice of metal floating about inside I've searched the net & nobody knows how to open it up without smashing it. Now i have a choice of Breaking it to get the loose screw out, Buying a new one or just forgetting it ever existed. So it's gathering dust underneath my desk laughing at me Grrrr
I stopped using it a few months back because i can get the same results by Plugging a Big to small Jack Adapter on one end of a guitar lead then plugging it into the Mic input of my PC. And no pissing about with the infuriating Software and Driver that comes with it.And Guitar Combos sucks aswell thats why i bought Guitar Rig 4 Pro Instead.
I had a few teething problems with the 64 Bit driver but it works fine now. I jam Through Guitar Rig 4 Pro Standalone Only because when i try to load the driver through Cubase 5 it does'nt show up in Audio Devices because I use 64 Bit Windows 7 and 32Bit Cubase. I've found that running it through ASIO4ALL is more effective in my circumstances.
