@bobthebuilder892001 What is he supposed to say? The announcer said he whacked him, and said it seriously, it's not like he said "he barely hit him" It clearly means something, because they mentioned it. I'm not saying that the miss-hit should have been a call (that WAS blatant homerism) but the high stick was NOT overlooked by the commentators.

@bobthebuilder892001 that wasnt a normal high stick either. high sticking usually means a player attempting to hook, steal the puck or hold up a player and they lose control of their stick hitting the opponent in the face. zhitnik literally takes a baseball swing at thorntons head. whats dimeo supposed to do? he stopped when he say thornton was taking care of business. this sabres announcer sucks he has the biggest crush on rob ray and no sabre can do wrong

that was definately not hooking but it was a blatant high stick

boston lol))

I miss this bruins team :/

Announcer sucked, and if you throw your stick around you deserve to get your ass kicked, Russian or not!
-
Jenerette's got a great voice for it. His opinions are 100% idiotic though.
-
@VIVIsectVI That's Jenerette (not sure how it's spelled), he's one of the best known announcers in hockey.
-
Those announcers are fucked.

@JCastle420 I see what you mean, but it's not really a bad thing if the guy gets into it, to me that's the point of sports. Where as Colorado sits there talks how the Avs are so amazing and how this year will be the cup, (Funny to me since they were eliminated by the Sharks even after putting in their own net), and talk down every team they play against.
If you're going to cheap shot someone, be ready to step up. Goon or not.

lmao homer sabres announcers. A bruin mis-hit on a Sabre = getting away with one, but a Sabre high sticking a bruin in the face doesn't mean anything.
what a joke.
