Peschiera del Garda is a town and comune in the province of Verona, in Veneto, Italy. When Lombardy-Venetia was under Austrian rule, Peschiera was the northwest anchor of the four fortified towns constituting the so-called Quadrilatero. The fortress is on an island in the Mincio River at its outlet from Lake Garda.

Peschiera del Garda si trova circa 25 chilometri ad ovest di Verona. Si affaccia a nord sul Lago di Garda ed è il comune più occidentale della Regione Veneto.
Da Peschiera esce l'emissario del lago di Garda, il Mincio. La costruzione della città murata di Peschiera circondata dalle acque ha modificato il percorso naturale del fiume. Per permettere la difesa della città, sono stati costruiti tre punti di uscita dal lago che si riuniscono a sud dell'abitato.
