Ash & Richie 3D the Blade SR

As part of the HeliTuning review Richie and myself took the Blade SR out and tested it's 3D capabilities. It was all done as a bit of fun and the model nearly hits the deck a few times but we managed some rainbows, chaos, backwards inverted and a few other moves...... not bad for a very cheap RTF heli.

I just saw this video today and I was very impressed. I just bought an SR last week and I'm having a few problems. I noticed that my weights on the flybar are all set as far away from the rotor head as possible. Does this have anything to do with the fact that the cyclic response is slow or sluggish? Do you have any suggestions to get quicker cyclic response? Thank you!

@mountaindewdude76 moving the weights in from the paddle to the center of the rotorhead will increase cyclic response

@TheMegamadzak nothing special, just a straight line pitch curve, no expo and a flat line 100% throttle curve. It was pretty much as it came out of the box but with the flybar weights moved inwards to give a better cyclic response.

@flyfalcon91 I would say go with maybe the blade mcpx2 first before the blade sr.

@flyfalcon91 when i got bored with my msr, i wound up buying the mcp x, a spectrum dx6i transmitter ,and a pheonix flight sim the mcp x is a little light in a breeze and totally a different machine compared to the msr

how many helis did you guys destroy to be this good lol! so would you recommend this heli for someone who is bored of the blade mSR? or what would you recommend?

i just started flying Helis i have to say its much more fun then planes
