Pumped Up Kicks & White Winter Hymnal Cover - "The Sold Out"

We're going through some changes as you can see. Sam's off to FSU in the fall and Ben just moved to Nashville. Nonetheless, we're going to continue to try and still do this. It's gonna be different, and we felt like it was a good time for a new start.

To those of you who know us as A Cue Stick, we promise to stay true to those roots and never go all out produced and techno-y. We started this two years ago as almost a joke, and for a joke A Cue Stick was a nice label. However, you guys took off with it and now we have some serious options to consider with respect to our music.

"The Sold Out" will refer to our effort to make music long distance together, while Ben starts a career and Sam gets a degree, rather than doing the "noble" thing and becoming starving musicians pursuing music. We agree that's more glamorous. But unfortunately we're too practical. Some people have said we're selling out to the overly romanticized American Dream. We however, hope that the irony in our new name will be the fact that we become more committed to making music now than ever. And we urge you to hold us to that.
