Auf den Bühnen der Clubs und Festivals längst kein Unbekannter mehr, präsentiert sich Collie Herb nun mit seinem ersten offiziellen Release der breiten Öffentlichkeit. Nach über 200 Gigs in der Schweiz und im nahen Ausland, zwei im Underground gefeierten Mixtapes und unzähligen Gastauftritten auf Alben anderer Künstler ist die Zeit reif für die „Jede Tag EP".

Gekonnt verbindet Collie auf 6 Tracks internationale Produktionen mit seinem unverwechselbaren Singjay- und Rapstyle. Die Riddims stammen aus Spanien, Polen und Schweden, zudem haben Weedy G und Max RubaDub je ein Instrumental beigesteuert, ein Song wird nur von einer akkustischen Gitarre begleitet. Vielfältig sind auch die besungenen Themen, Nachdenkliches hat hier ebenso Platz wie Party, ein unverfänglicher Lovesong ebenso wie kritische Ansätze.

Die „Jede Tag EP" reflektiert Collie Herb's bisheriges Schaffen treffend und macht definitiv Lust auf mehr. Auch live braucht er sich nicht zu verstecken vor den Grossen der CH-Reggae-Szene. Ob mit seiner Band „The Vibe Controllers" oder mit DJ; Collie weiss, wie man die Hütte abreissen und durchaus auch ein Nicht-Reggae Publikum begeistern kann.

After having made a name for himself on stage at clubs and festivals, Collie Herb now presents himself to the broad public with his first official release. After more than 200 gigs in Switzerland and the surrounding countries, two mix tapes that were highly praised by the underground scene, and countless guest appearances on other artist's albums, time has finally come for his release "Jede Tag EP".

On 6 tracks, Collie skillfully combines international productions with his unique singjay and rap style. The riddims originate in Spain, Poland, and Sweden. In addition, Weedy G and Max RubaDub each contributed an instrumental, and one of the tracks is only backed up by an acoustic guitar. Alongside his music, the topics he sings about are also very versatile. It ranges from reflectiveness to party tunes, a love song, as well as critical approaches.

"Jede Tag EP" accurately reflects Collie Herb's previous accomplishments and definitely makes you want more. He doesn't need to hide from the big shots of the Swiss reggae scene, either, when it comes to live performances. Whether if it's with his band "The Vibe Controllers", or with a DJ; Collie knows exactly how to crank it up and even how to excite a non-reggae crowd.
