  • I found some videos on the VECTTOR treatment here on youtube. this is not spam or advertisement I'm just sharing this comment 'cus they claim to be able to treat some types of Muscular Dystrophy.

I don't know if they can treat LGMD but just share here in youtube for VECTTOR TREATMENT and you'll find some info.

Keep it up my friend The cure is closer than ever

    GOD BLESS YOU.

  • Keep rockin John! We EVOLVE!!!!

  • I was wondering if this form of Dystrophy is also known as Calpainopathy? If it is then my son just got this diagnoses and he's only 10. Any advise is always welcome. Thanks

  • I also have lgmd type 2a. Nice vid!

  • hey, do you guys know what type of progress is being in terms of treatment for LGMD2A? is there any rehabilitational type of things out there or even a cure? or might there be in the near future??

    thank you

  • i see you're also hyperflexible.

Never seen the combo LG type 2 with the hyperflexibility except me! my elbows bend a long way backwards too. I recognize the 'climbing in yourself' for pulling yourself up..weird to see my own bodyimage on youtube, it's like a male-mirror whihi.

  • John, you're awesome! I am just finding out that I suffer from Myotonia, with muscle weakness and atrophy. The culprit is Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy, and it is affecting my hands, arms, chest and shoulder muscles, hips, and legs. My achilles tendons are very tight, and I am also noticing the myotonia in my toes, which are now hammer toes. No fun. I'm a fighter though, and now I know what has been getting me for the last 20 years. Thanks so much for posting this.

  • You are doing a great service to others John. I don't know how you do it but I commend you. LGMDA2 is a rough condition. I specialize in the study of LGMD2I and DMD (all forms). We are making great progress and I have high hopes for the future.
