This band, and this tune in particular, was a big influence on Tower of Power. In fact, they used to cover the tune on their gigs back in the day. James Gadson on drums; the guitar player went on to play in Earth Wind & Fire.

@ceekym the heavy is what lead me to this band and im really into these guys. If it wasnt for them I probably would have never found dyke and the blazers and Im a huge fan of swing, soul, ska and just good ole music with in itself. The heavy is bringing some of that music back and sharing it with todays music. Im definitely listening to more of dyke and the Blazers. so shut up and enjoy the music.
