How To Get Rich
by Canada's Cable Companies
1. Raise basic cable rates 4 times the rate of inflation.
2. Protect your monopoly and set rates at will.
3. Charge customers for local TV without paying for it.
If the cable companies win, you continue to lose.
Tell Prime Minister Harper to rewrite the story.
Stand up against rising cable rates and be heard.

How to get rich by the Cable and TV companies.
Rogers = CityTV
Shaw = GlobalTV
CTV = Bell , oh sorry, they use to own them. :P
CBC = Telus , lol
As you can see the tv and cable companies are either ripping themselves off or ripping you off.

This "Money Pit" they call the C.B.C. is already funded by the taxpayer to the annual tune of $1,200,000,000,00. What a waste of taxpayer dollars.

What a crock. The proposed rise in cable rates is BECAUSE the major networks want to be paid for having their signal carried to millions upon millions of potential viewers. Last I checked I thought that's what they wanted.
Here's a get rich plan. Run a company...poorly...and then have someone else pay for your own debt.

I have zero love for the Cable and Satellite companies as I know these greedy companies are also ripping me off to no end but ultimately any fee / tax is going to be passed on to me, the consumer and I refuse to pay anymore then what I am already being gouged. I'm fighting back this time and I'm refusing to pay "Corporate Welfare" to these "Private Broadcasters". If this tax passes, I'm going to cancel my cable and go total Black Market for my TV. By the way, where's my bailout?
