Also, what if this was actually a prank as the caller says it was but it describes a 'mostly real' occurring of events and the powers that be thought it was real and decided to censor it before any more information got out. It certainly would fit within the Modus Operandi of the NSA or perhaps still another organization with quasi-governmental ties. Something to think about, regardless the solution would be to decentralize all power and population centers into more sustainable networks.

it may also be a sound alike hired to recant the story of the possible other caller, as the calling in of such a so-called prank was done with expert like control of emotions and urgency, still this only explains half of the incident, what is to be said of the uncanny timeliness of the radio outage?

@Ipodstufzz The phone call was appearantly fake. The caller later admitted that it was faked. However, I wouldn't bet my money on it, it could also be that the Government pressed him to say that it was a prank. Who knows.
