I saw this on PBS and have been looking for this for quite some time. Thanks for posting this concert. The writer, the singer, the band, and full orchestra are all fantastic. What beautiful mucsic, damn I wish they made music like this again.

Hey--the combination of the two is magic, but to whomever wrote 'thank you to Burt Bacharach for the written word' -- Hal David wrote the lyrics to almost every Bacharach hit, including this one.

I walked into a record store in Lower Manhatten about six years ago,expecting to hear the usual rap thump thump kinda thing,when i heard this! It was sureal,as if id gone back in time! Needles to say i purchased it !!
