  • The solution for the NextGenners - just don't get a mediocre job that pays ordinary money. Become a Lindsay Lohan. It's that simple.

  • well these kids have no idea how fortunate they are to work at a place where most of their coworkers are the same age as they are. here in oregon young professionals are nearly non-existent. i've worked at a few colleges and i would say 90% of employees are over 35. as i approach the end of my 20's, i realize that i've never had a chance to work with my peers. and the older generations do nothing to accomodate young workers i have no idea what they are talking about.

  • @blade004 You have a lot of hostility issues. Who said Gen X parents are upset. They raised a bunch of intelligent people that is going to change everything. Is that why you don't like us. You don't like the idea of some twenty-two year old challenging the norm of how your business does things. Blame upper management not us. We have a lot of problems to deal with and we are going to fix them by throwing out old inefficient infrastructure.

  • @PhreShPimpCeSS Don't worry about him. He is just trying to get you in a argument because he can. Every generation thinks they are the greatest. I know you did not say that. Don't let people on Youtube go after you. I find they are not open minded. Thanks for sticking up for us instead of bringing us down like so many people in Gen X has.

  • @blade004 When you were a kid I bet you did not take criticism of your generation that well either. I am frankly tired of people arm chair quarterbacking Gen Y. We have a different view on the world. So what? We do not give ourselves to our jobs unless we enjoy them. I feel just fine being apart of a generation that is more educated, more skeptical of authority , and cares more about life and happiness. After all is it not happiness that we were put on this planet for.

  • @Laozman This is true. I worked three and a half years at a job I hated. I wanted all my benefits of the job three months after I started and after a year and a half of not getting a promotion after showing up working my hardest and not getting anywhere I quit for a while to explore opportunities. As a generation Y person I can see where they are coming from. Why work for a boss that works you into the ground for mediocre pay and does not respect you. People that hate that can shove it.

  • the future?? which way 2 THE WELFARE OFFICE.

  • @oregonflatland I kind of like how our generations ass is kind of getting kissed, were scared as hell and we need a bit of handholding. But, I'm an engineering student and I do realize that however this might work at a hollywood firm or the stereotypical cubical job, It's not gonna work for me. I could have my hand in killing thousands of people, by volition or by accident. Responsibility is a load best laid down at a slow rate. slower than the corporate- millenial bending action. i agree

  • @blade004 but they'll still be part and parcel of us, they use the net like its an extension of their body. we cant say the same for our moms and dads. we are the generation that will eliminate political stalemating because we have become fed up with so much idealism. I vote on the issues and not blindly for a party. the latter'd get this country nowhere in a hurry. our children should be cut from the same cloth. Just think of the engineers Z will pork out. I'm an engineering student (23).

  • @PhreShPimpCeSS river phoenix has RUINED gen x....gen x decided to just throw life away when River Phoenix died, his death fucked up a generation, cuz he showed us teen idol fans of his that its ok to do drugs and od at 23 like him.....so they really didnt plan to 'move on'....and theyre still living off parents or dead hahaha

  • @blade004 River Phoenix's death has ruined gen x.....i was 19 when River died and im still not over my teen idol, so how is anyone of that generation supposed to do anything with their life.....the teen idol we grew up with died of drugs od at 23......so that gave us the idea we could do that too!

  • For gen x, River Phoenix, influenced us to od at 23.....so fuck even working for a career! thats why gen x is fucked up...hehehehehehehehehee!
