EVP Ghost Box Editing With Adobe Audition 1.5.wmv

Adobe Audition 1.5

Adobe is not very compatible with any windows above XP.

Simple directions for editing Ghost Box Captures




1. File---- Open----- Choose File

2. Listen & make sure it's the file you want.

3. Highlight the selection you want to edit.

4. Filters ----- Scientific Filter ------- Hiss Cut

5. Noise Reduction ------ Click/Pop ------Medium

6. Noise Reduction ------- Hiss Reduction -------Light Hiss-------Get Floor Noise -------OK (If you have a lot of static you will probably want standard or maybe high reduction)

7. Play

8. When you happy with it go to File----Save Selection As ------ Type In Your Name -----Save
(It's really important that the file is selected (Highlighted On The Screen)

You really have to play with it and work it out each session. Adobe 1.5 is very cheap on Ebay and some places will let you download it for free now. If you have Vista or higher you really need Adobe Audition 3.0, unless you know what your doing with the plugins.
